This was the last hideaway to be built by Paul, and honours the tea-tree setting. The floor is spattered with aqua-, algae- and lime-coloured paint, and other arty touches include the handcrafted lampshades and a table made from recycled tyres. Tree-green cushions and furnishings decorate the space. This open-plan suite has a separate wet-room bathroom, two private decks (one with the outdoor spa bath and furniture; the other with outdoor shower and table) tucked away in the bush and a bedroom with a king-size bed. The lounge has a built-in couch designed with cuddling in mind. Each suite has a flatscreen TV, CD player, DVD player, radio, iPod dock and minibar. Bath products by Olieve&Olie are provided. If you’re hungry between meals, don’t worry: rooms are stocked with just-baked biscuits by Paul, and there’s a minifridge filled with Hepburn Mineral Spring juices, local beer and wine. Caffeine-fiends can rustle up proper coffee and there’s a selection of T2 teas.
