Paul, big blue backyard's in house Chef and owner, has designed this menu for sharing, using the freshest ingredients available from local producers.
The dish you choose is cooked specifically for you and served to your hideaway, because it’s your private dining experience!
Every dinner begins with a generous canape for you to enjoy as your table is set for dinner.
In addition to this seasonal menu, each day Paul prepares the “Chefs dinner” which is the dinner of the day or the "plate de jour".
The Chefs dinner is included in all our intimate and indulgent packages.
Every meal begins with freshly prepared canapés inspired by what’s growing now.

This winter all the dishes are robust and generous and vegetables in the side dishes will be determined by the seasonal produce from Transition Farm – the local organic, biodynamic community share farm.
Lamb shank curry with veg pilau & roti bread
Winter vegetable hot pot, polenta chips & garden salad
Chicken tagine with preserved lemons & olives accompanied with vegetable cous cous
Roasted beef fillet with forest mushrooms, lyonnaise potatoes & garden salad
Chilli tomato mussels with crusty bread, or if you prefer, done in traditional mariniere style
Dessert platter is served to share and left with you to while away the evening by candle light. Please select a dessert that you both will enjoy.

Chocolate brownie pie with dble cream & ice cream
Pecan pudding with bourbon & butterscotch sauce
Private Dinner $160 per couple. (Choose a main dish and a dessert).
Private Chef’s Dinner $140 per couple. (Have whatever Chef is preparing)
