Big blue backyard seasonal menu


Paul, big blue backyard's in house Chef and owner, has designed this Summer menu for sharing, using the freshest ingredients available from local producers.


The dish you choose is cooked specifically for you and served to your hideaway, because it’s your private dining experience! 


Every dinner begins with a delicious canape for you to enjoy as your table is set for dinner.


If you don't want to choose then go with the “Chefs dinner” which is the dinner Paul has decided to cook for the evening


The Chefs dinner is included in all our Romantic Indulgence package.


Canapés 

Every meal begins with freshly prepared canapés inspired by what’s growing now.

 

Mains – are cooked to share!

Please select one that you will both enjoy.


Paul’s dishes are designed to eat outdoors on your private deck or tucked away in your hideaway.  All our vegetables and accompaniments are grown locally and determined by the weekly delivery of just picked produce.

Beef Fillet roasted to perfection, Madagascan green peppercorn sauce, hand cut chips, kitchen salad.

 

Indulgent Vegetable Tart Tartin, kitchen salad.

 

Baked, corn crumbed Cajun Chicken, spicy slaw.

 

Local Mussels - in spicy tomato with grilled chorizo OR white wine, garlic & cream.  Crusty bread, kitchen salad.

 

Juicy roasted lamb rump on a warm spinach, roasted garlic & pine nuts salad, lemon potatoes &  summer tomatoes topped with feta

 

Dessert platter is served to share and left with you to while away the evening by candle light.  Please select a dessert that you both will enjoy.

 

 

Decadent baked chocolate pudding, vanilla icecream

 

Pavlova in Traditional Dress– double cream sunnyridge strawberries, passion fruit, etc.

 

Frozen Parfait of summer fruits, white chocolate sauce


Private Dinner $170 per couple.  (Choose a main dish and a dessert).

Private Chef’s Dinner $150 per couple.  (Have whatever Chef is preparing).

Please Note:  Dinners ar not available on Wednesday Evenings - Chef heads to the hills on his mountain bike for the day!
