This Season we are delighted to be stocking, introducing you to or reacquainting you with some fabulous Peninsula crafted wines. All our wines this season are produced by family run vineyards – each vineyards cellar door (excluding Scorpo who does not have one) is worth a visit. Balnarring Vineyard cellar door is at the Merricks General Store in Merricks.
The wine displays lifted aromas of strawberries, red currants and spun sugar.
A traditional method, Champagne-inspired blend. Aromas of apple, citrus and grilled nuts. Persistent acidity gives length and balance to the grapefruit and lemon fruits…
Aromas of citrus, honey and cardamom; with melon, citrus and spice on the palate. A solid backbone of natural acidity provides great length of flavours.
Greeny light lemon appearance. A nose of crunchy pear, green apple and light meadow hay, with some richer marzipan and lychee background notes.
The Scorpo Vineyard produces some of the best Shiraz on the Mornington Peninsula, a parcel of which is made into the Estate Rose. Imagine eating strawberries and cream on a beautiful Summer's day ….
Good clarity/bright garnet with youthful purple hues. Most expressive & complex Shiraz to date – mineral/earth/ middle eastern spices with opulent core of dark fruits.
is the field blend of Balnarring Vineyard, a white super blend combining the aromatics of Riesling and Moscato Giallo with Friulano, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay.
A deep, brooding, smokey and charred-cherry scented nose laced with some liquorice. Gives the impression of being a big-bodied wine.
We are very excited to have two wines produced by the Crittenden Family in Dromana. Their cellar door is well worth the visit. The fruit of this stunning Sangiovese is grown under contract in the Northern sub region of the Heathcote GI. This Sangiovese finishes long and tart with that refreshing spine of acidity.
True to the Piedmontese style this wine shows characters of pear juice and fresh apples on the nose.
Made at our very own local brewery – located up in Red Hill.
