I Do, I Do, I Do.

Wedding season is here!

September was the start for the brave and the beautiful and as we head towards the end of October with only 9 weeks till the new year,  the sandy dunes of the bass strait are proudly displaying their ti tree blossom confetti.

It’s time for those backless dainty dresses, barefoot beach walking in a giddy step after great friends nuptials and maybe even promising your own?

Wooden tables groaning with delicious food, flowers and overflowing glasses take relief under market umbrellas.  Cool coastal winds blow petals across vineyard restaurants and tucked away ‘Pop Up’ wedding marquees, yacht clubs with bright flags zigzagging the old pockmarked ceilings, and coastal gardens softening to a merry wilt late in the afternoon.  Not one is the same!

Holiday houses large and small nurture bridal parties.  Grooms here – golf sticks, bowties and braces.  Bride, bridesmaids, mums and sisters over there - nail polish, bubbles and bobby pins, makeup artists and photographers.

Wedding nights booked in secluded hideaways, at least a year in advance prepare too, for the late at night arriving Mr & Mrs.  All of us bespoke, niche market, Peninsula businesses  get to play in this season of celebration and romance.

So we make a toast to all those beautiful summer brides and handsome grooms that have chosen to make this stunning part of the world the beginning of their forever story. We are so looking forward to having you here!
